Description
Tender, juicy beef short ribs cooked to perfection in the air fryer, delivering a crispy exterior and fall-off-the-bone tenderness in a fraction of the traditional cooking time.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef short ribs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Optional
- BBQ sauce or glaze for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat fully to ensure even cooking.
- Season the Ribs: Rub the beef short ribs all over with olive oil, then evenly coat with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to build flavor.
- First Air Fry Cycle: Place the ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10 minutes to start the crisping process.
- Flip and Continue Cooking: Carefully flip the ribs over and air fry for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the ribs are crispy on the outside and tender inside.
- Optional Glazing: If desired, brush the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce or glaze, then return them to the air fryer for 2 more minutes to set the sauce.
- Serve: Remove the ribs carefully and let them rest a few minutes before serving to lock in the juices.
Notes
- Cooking time may vary slightly based on the thickness and size of your short ribs.
- For even more tenderness, you can wrap the ribs in foil during part of the cooking process.
