Description

Classic comfort food with seasoned hamburger patties baked in rich gravy — simple, hearty, and nostalgic.


Ingredients

Hamburger Patties:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Gravy:

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C).
  2. Mix beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper; form patties.

  3. Brown patties in skillet; transfer to baking dish.
  4. In skillet, melt butter; whisk in flour, then broth and Worcestershire to form gravy.

  5. Pour gravy over patties and bake 20–25 minutes.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes or green beans.
  • Add mushrooms to gravy for extra flavor.
