Ingredients
Hot Chocolate Base

Instructions
- Heat Milk and Cocoa: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, cocoa powder, and sugar. Stir frequently until the mixture is hot and the cocoa and sugar have fully dissolved, but do not allow it to boil.
- Add Bailey’s and Vanilla: Remove the saucepan from the heat and gently stir in the Bailey’s Irish Cream and vanilla extract, combining thoroughly without boiling to preserve the alcohol and flavors.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the hot chocolate into mugs. Top each serving with whipped cream or chocolate shavings if desired, adding an extra touch of indulgence.
Notes
- Do not boil the mixture after adding Bailey’s to prevent altering the flavor and alcohol content.
- For a bolder taste, add a splash of espresso before mixing in Bailey’s.
