Description

Crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, these baked broccoli cheese balls are a tasty and healthy snack or appetizer everyone will love.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Steam the broccoli for 4–5 minutes until tender, then finely chop.

In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the mixture into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each).

Roll each ball lightly in extra breadcrumbs for a crispier coating.

Arrange on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown.

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
