Ingredients
Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup diced onion
- 1 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese
Wrappers and Frying:
- 12 egg-roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Dipping Sauce:
- ketchup-mayo-pickle relish mix
Instructions
- Brown beef with onion: Cook ground beef with diced onion until browned; drain excess fat.
- Season the beef: Stir in ketchup, mustard, and shredded cheese. Allow mixture to cool slightly.
- Fill and roll: Spoon the beef filling onto each egg-roll wrapper, fold, and seal the edges.
- Fry the egg rolls: In 350°F oil, fry the egg rolls for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve: Drain the fried egg rolls on paper towels and serve hot with the prepared dipping sauce.
