Description

This Cinnamon Apple Smoothie is a delightful blend that tastes like apple pie in a glass—warm, cozy, and naturally sweet. Made with fresh apples, cinnamon, and creamy yogurt, it’s a wholesome breakfast or snack option that offers both comfort and nutrition in a quick, easy-to-make drink.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, cored and chopped (peel on for fiber)
  • ½ banana
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or oat milk
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Core and chop the apple, keeping the peel on to retain fiber. Peel and measure out half a banana. Measure the yogurt, almond milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract if using.
  2. Blend Ingredients: Add the apple, banana, Greek or dairy-free yogurt, almond milk, ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and ice cubes into a blender.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all ingredients on high speed for about 30 to 60 seconds until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Adjust Consistency: Check the thickness of the smoothie. If it’s too thick, add more almond or oat milk. If it’s too thin, add more ice cubes or banana and blend again until you reach your preferred consistency.
  5. Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • For extra warmth, add a pinch of nutmeg or cloves to the blender.
  • Use chilled apples to create a colder smoothie without needing additional ice.
  • Add a spoonful of almond butter for extra protein and healthy fats.
