Description
Crisped to golden perfection, this garlicky broccoli bursts with flavor and crunch straight from the air fryer. It’s the ultimate quick side or snack—even broccoli skeptics will devour it.
Ingredients
1 large head broccoli (~1.5 lbs), cut into bite-size florets
2 tbsp olive oil (or avocado oil)
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp kosher salt
½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
1 tsp fresh lemon juice (optional, for serving)
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
In a large bowl, toss broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until well coated.
Arrange florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Optionally spritz with a bit more oil during the shake for extra crisp.
Once done, transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon juice if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket to ensure crispiness.
Fresh garlic works best for caramelization.
Add smoked paprika or more chili flakes for extra flavor.
