Description

This Parmesan Crusted Chicken recipe gives you crispy chicken coated in golden, cheesy perfection and topped with a rich, garlicky cream sauce. It’s an easy, flavorful dinner that pairs wonderfully with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:

4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

34 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup light cream or heavy cream

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano

1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated

1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

Lower the heat in the skillet and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring frequently.

Pour in the cream, stirring continuously to combine.

Add Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.

If using spinach, stir it in and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the spinach wilts.

3. Combine and Serve

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning some of the creamy garlic sauce over the top.

Simmer for 1 minute, then remove from heat.

Serve the chicken with the creamy garlic sauce, and pair with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For extra crispiness: Coat the chicken in a mix of parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs before frying.

For a spicier kick: Add red pepper flakes to the sauce for extra heat.

Use fresh parmesan for the best flavor and texture in the sauce.
