Description

Sweet and crunchy bite-size treats featuring juicy strawberries and creamy filling wrapped in golden wonton shells—easy to make and perfect for dessert or snack time.

Ingredients

12–16 wonton wrappers

8 oz cream cheese, softened

¼ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup finely chopped fresh strawberries (drained if juicy)

Vegetable oil, for frying

Optional dusting: ¼ cup granulated sugar + ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

In a bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in chopped strawberries and a splash of heavy cream if mixture is too thick

Place a wonton wrapper on your work surface. Spoon about 1–2 tsp of filling into the center. Moisten edges with water, then fold into a triangle or bring corners together to seal, pressing firmly

Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a pot to ~350 °F. Fry wontons in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

While still warm, dust with granulated sugar and optional cinnamon for an added sweet crunch

Serve immediately for maximum crispiness.
