Meat
- 1 lb ground beef, cooked
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
Seasoning & Dairy
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
Other
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Prepare the base layer: Place half of the frozen tater tots evenly in the bottom of the crockpot to create the first layer of the casserole.
- Mix filling ingredients: In a bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, ranch seasoning packet, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
- Assemble casserole: Pour the meat and cheese mixture evenly over the layer of tater tots in the crockpot.
- Top with tater tots: Spread the remaining frozen tater tots evenly over the top of the meat mixture to form the final layer.
- Cook: Cover and cook the casserole on Low for 4–5 hours or on High for 2–3 hours, until the tater tots are cooked through and the filling is hot and bubbly.
Notes
- Add crispy bacon pieces to the mixture for extra flavor and texture.
- Use spicy ranch seasoning mix to give the casserole a spicy kick.
- You can substitute shredded chicken with turkey for a leaner version.
- For a richer dish, sprinkle additional cheddar cheese on top near the end of cooking.
