Description

An easy and flavorful slow cooker recipe featuring tender meatballs simmered in a rich marinara and crushed tomato sauce, served piping hot over perfectly cooked spaghetti. Ideal for a hands-off dinner that’s both comforting and satisfying.

Ingredients

Meatballs and Sauce

  • 1 pound frozen or homemade meatballs
  • 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Pasta

  • 12 ounces spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker: Add the meatballs, marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper into the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients evenly without breaking the meatballs.
  2. Cook the meatballs and sauce: Cover and cook on Low for 6–7 hours or on High for 3–4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld and the meatballs to become tender.
  3. Cook the spaghetti: Just before serving, cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente, then drain well.
  4. Serve: Plate the cooked spaghetti and top generously with the meatballs and sauce from the slow cooker. Optionally garnish with grated Parmesan or fresh basil for added flavor.

Notes

  • Consider adding grated Parmesan cheese or fresh basil leaves just before serving to enhance the flavor.
  • Use homemade meatballs or store-bought frozen ones based on convenience.
  • Adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper if desired.
