Ingredients

For the Noodles:

8 ounces ramen noodles or rice noodles

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

For the Sauce:

3 teaspoons chili paste (like Sambal Oelek or Sriracha)

2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

For Garnish (optional):

Green onions, chopped

Sesame seeds

Optional Toppings:

2 large eggs, beaten


Instructions

Cook the noodles:
Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the sauce:
In a small bowl, combine chili paste, soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.

Sauté garlic and cook eggs:
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Push the garlic to one side of the pan and pour the beaten eggs on the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked through, then mix with the garlic.

Combine noodles and sauce:
Add the cooked noodles to the pan with the garlic and eggs. Pour the sauce over the noodles and toss to combine everything well.

Serve and garnish:
Serve the noodles hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
