Ingredients
1 lb steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
4 medium potatoes (peeled and cubed)
3 tbsp butter (divided)
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tsp fresh thyme (chopped, optional)
1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped, optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
½ cup beef broth or stock
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
Instructions

Peel and cube the potatoes, and cut the steak into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and chop any herbs.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 7-10 minutes until crispy. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add the steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

Add the remaining butter to the skillet, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce (optional), scraping the pan to release the flavors.

Return the steak and potatoes to the skillet, toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce, and cook for another 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.

Garnish with fresh parsley and thyme and serve hot.
