Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes combines tender steak, crispy golden potatoes, and a rich garlic butter sauce. This one-pan meal is savory, satisfying, and perfect for any occasion. Packed with flavor, it’s a quick and easy dinner that feels indulgent.

Ingredients

1 lb steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)

4 medium potatoes (peeled and cubed)

3 tbsp butter (divided)

4 garlic cloves (minced)

1 tsp fresh thyme (chopped, optional)

1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped, optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

½ cup beef broth or stock

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  • Peel and cube the potatoes, and cut the steak into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and chop any herbs.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 7-10 minutes until crispy. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter, add the steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.

  • Add the remaining butter to the skillet, then add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce (optional), scraping the pan to release the flavors.

  • Return the steak and potatoes to the skillet, toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce, and cook for another 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and thyme and serve hot.

Notes

  1. You can use other vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini.
  2. Add a spicy kick with red pepper flakes or jalapeños.
  3. For a vegetarian version, replace the steak with mushrooms or tofu.
  4. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
