All the flavor of a Philly cheesesteak in an easy skillet form — tender ground beef, peppers, onions, and melty provolone.
Ingredients
Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteaks:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella
- 4 sandwich rolls
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Brown beef in skillet: Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned; drain excess fat.
- Add onion, pepper, and Worcestershire: Sauté sliced onion and green bell pepper with Worcestershire sauce until tender.
- Spoon onto toasted rolls: Place the beef and vegetable mixture onto toasted sandwich rolls.
- Top with cheese: Sprinkle shredded provolone or mozzarella on top.
- Broil until melted: Broil the assembled sandwiches for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

- Add mushrooms or hot peppers for a twist.
- Use hoagie rolls for classic presentation.
