Description

These No-Bake Oatmeal Cookies are a classic treat made with chocolate, peanut butter, and oats. They’re quick, easy, and perfect for a no-fuss dessert!

Ingredients

½ cup butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
¾ cup creamy peanut butter (crunchy can also be used)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
3 cups quick-cooking oats (old-fashioned oats can be used, but the texture will be different)

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, bring the butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa to a boil for one minute. Make sure the mixture reaches a full rolling boil before starting the timer. For best results, avoid over-boiling to prevent dry cookies.
2. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the peanut butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
3. Stir in the oats until fully combined.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax paper or parchment paper (a cookie scoop works well). Let the cookies cool and set up.
5. Store the cookies in an airtight container once cooled.
