Description

Soft and fluffy vanilla loaf bread beautifully swirled with rich, chocolatey Nutella. This Nutella Swirl Bread is sweet and tender, making it an ideal treat for breakfast, dessert, or as a thoughtful homemade gift.


Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ cup sugar

Wet Ingredients

  • ¾ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup oil (vegetable or canola oil recommended)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Swirl

  • ½ cup Nutella (warm slightly for easier swirling)


Instructions

  1. Prepare Batter: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined to form a smooth batter.
  2. Layer Batter and Nutella: Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan. Drop spoonfuls of Nutella evenly over the batter. Using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the Nutella into the batter to create a marbled effect.
  3. Repeat Layers: Pour the remaining half of the batter over the swirled Nutella layer. Add additional spoonfuls of Nutella on top and swirl again to ensure a beautiful Nutella pattern throughout the bread.
  4. Bake: Place the loaf pan in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C). Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
  5. Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy as a delightful breakfast or dessert treat.
