Description

Juicy and versatile ground chicken seasoned perfectly for meal prep, tacos, rice bowls, stir frys, or lettuce wraps — ready in just 10 minutes for a quick and healthy meal option.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Optional Ingredients

  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • Taco seasoning, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: Place a skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil, allowing it to warm up for about a minute to ensure even cooking.
  2. Add ground chicken and seasonings: Add the ground chicken to the hot skillet, then sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. If you like, add soy sauce or taco seasoning at this point for extra flavor.
  3. Cook and crumble: Using a spatula or spoon, break the chicken into small crumbles as it cooks. Stir occasionally and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked, no longer pink, and starting to brown nicely.
  4. Serve or store: Use the cooked ground chicken immediately in tacos, salads, rice bowls, or lettuce wraps, or allow to cool and freeze for later meal prep.

Notes

  • Freeze cooked ground chicken in an airtight container for up to 3 months for convenient meal prep.
  • Add diced vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, or zucchini during cooking to create a complete one-pan meal.
