Ingredients
Ground Beef:
- 1 lb ground beef
Taco Seasoning:
- 1 packet taco seasoning
Taco Shells:
- 6 hard taco shells
Flour Tortillas:
- 6 soft flour tortillas
Cheese:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
Lettuce:
- 1/2 cup lettuce
Tomato:
- 1/2 cup diced tomato
Spicy Ranch or Chipotle Mayo:
- 1/4 cup spicy ranch or chipotle mayo
Instructions
- Brown beef: Cook ground beef and add taco seasoning as per packet instructions.
- Prepare cheese layer: Warm tortillas and sprinkle cheese on one side.
- Assemble Gorditas: Place a hard taco shell inside a soft tortilla, press together to melt cheese.
- Fill the Gorditas: Fill with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomato, and drizzle with spicy ranch or chipotle mayo.
