Description

A fresh and zesty avocado dip blending creamy ripe avocado with lime, tangy red onion, jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, and tomato—perfect with chips or as a topper.


Ingredients

3 ripe avocados

1 Tbsp fresh lime juice

½ tsp salt

½ tsp ground cumin

¼ tsp cayenne pepper

1/3 cup finely diced red onion

1 jalapeño, seeded and finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 Tbsp finely chopped cilantro

1 large Roma tomato, seeded and diced 


Instructions

Slice avocados in half and remove pits; scoop flesh into a bowl and add lime juice. Mash with a fork, leaving your desired texture.

Stir in salt, cumin, and cayenne until blended.

Gently fold in onion, jalapeño, garlic, cilantro, and tomato until well combined.

Taste and season with extra salt or lime juice if needed. Let stand for up to 1 hour for flavors to meld.
