Description

This Tropical Energy Smoothie is a bright, refreshing, and naturally energizing drink made with tropical fruits and hydrating ingredients. It’s perfect for breakfast, a mid-day boost, or a post-workout refresher, combining pineapple, mango, banana, and creamy yogurt for a healthy, delicious treat.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ cup mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 ripe banana

Dairy & Alternatives

  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt

Liquids

  • 1 cup coconut water or unsweetened almond milk

Additions

  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut (unsweetened)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients including pineapple, mango, banana, yogurt, shredded coconut, coconut water or almond milk, and ice cubes.
  2. Combine in Blender: Add pineapple chunks, mango chunks, banana, Greek or dairy-free yogurt, shredded coconut, and coconut water or almond milk into the blender.
  3. Blend Smooth: Blend all ingredients together until smooth and creamy, which should take about 30 to 60 seconds depending on blender power.
  4. Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add extra coconut water or almond milk; if too thin, add ice cubes and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately for best freshness and flavor.

Notes

  • Using frozen fruit makes the smoothie thicker and colder without needing as many ice cubes.
  • Adding chia seeds can increase the fiber content and help you feel fuller longer.
  • For an extra tropical zing, add a splash of fresh lime juice to brighten the flavors.
