Ingredients

Proteins

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 200 g shrimp, peeled and deveined

Pasta & Grains

  • 250 g pasta (such as fettuccine or penne)

Sauce & Flavorings

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. Cook Shrimp: In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, approximately 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside with the chicken.
  4. Sauté Garlic and Make Sauce: Add minced garlic to the pan and sauté briefly until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Cook on low heat, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked chicken and shrimp to the pan with the sauce. Add the drained pasta and toss everything together until well combined and heated through. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it.
  6. Serve: Plate the pasta while warm, garnish with additional Parmesan or fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy your delicious chicken and shrimp pasta.
