Description

A quick and flavorful ramen stir-fry featuring minced pork and aromatic curry seasoning. This easy-to-make dish offers a rich taste and satisfying texture, ideal for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 180 g minced pork
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, carrots, peas)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook Noodles: Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions until just tender. Drain the noodles and set them aside to prevent overcooking during stir-fry.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Heat the oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and slightly golden, releasing its aroma.
  3. Cook Minced Pork: Add the minced pork to the pan and cook thoroughly, stirring frequently until it is fully browned and cooked through, breaking up any clumps.
  4. Add Seasonings: Stir in the curry powder, soy sauce, and fish sauce evenly throughout the pork mixture to infuse the meat with rich, layered flavors.
  5. Cook Vegetables: Add the mixed vegetables to the pan and cook briefly, about 2–3 minutes, until they are slightly tender but still retain some crispness.
  6. Toss Noodles: Add the cooked noodles and 2 tablespoons of water to the pan. Toss everything together gently to ensure the noodles are coated with the curry sauce and heated through.
  7. Final Cooking: Continue to cook the combined mixture for another 2–3 minutes, allowing all flavors to meld and the noodles to absorb the seasoning.
  8. Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve hot as a satisfying main course.

Notes

  • Fish sauce adds depth of umami flavor but can be omitted for a milder taste or for dietary preferences.
  • For extra richness and protein, add a fried egg on top before serving.
  • Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand, such as spinach, mushrooms, or bean sprouts, to customize the dish.
