Instructions
- Boil Water: Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil in a small pot or saucepan over medium heat.
- Add Ginger and Turmeric: Add the grated fresh ginger and turmeric to the boiling water, then reduce heat to a simmer.
- Simmer: Let the mixture simmer gently for 5 to 7 minutes to allow the flavors and beneficial compounds to infuse into the water.
- Strain Tea: Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup to remove ginger and turmeric solids.
- Add Flavorings: Stir in 1 teaspoon honey, juice of half a lemon, and a pinch of black pepper to enhance flavor and absorption of turmeric.
