Brussels Sprouts
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Glaze
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Optional Toppings
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup bacon bits
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for roasting the Brussels sprouts.
- Season Brussels Sprouts: Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Roast Sprouts: Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 25–30 minutes, allowing them to become crispy and golden brown.
- Glaze with Maple Syrup: Remove the sprouts from the oven, drizzle maple syrup evenly over them, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
- Add Optional Toppings: Once out of the oven, sprinkle chopped pecans or crispy bacon bits on top if desired for extra crunch and flavor.
