- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup beef broth (or water)

- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Garnish
- 4 green onions, sliced (reserve some for garnish)

Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Prepare noodles according to package instructions, drain well, and set aside until ready to combine.
- Brown Ground Beef: Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add Aromatics: Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
- Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, and hoisin sauce. Pour this mixture into the skillet with the beef and aromatics.
- Thicken Sauce: Add the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) to the skillet and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens to a glossy consistency.
- Combine and Toss: Add the cooked noodles and sliced green onions to the skillet. Toss everything together until noodles are thoroughly coated with the sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and additional green onions for garnish. Serve hot immediately.
