Sausage and Sauce
- 300 g sausage, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
Seasoning and Garnish
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Boil water in a large pot and cook 250 g of pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside.
- Brown the Sausage: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 300 g of sliced sausage and cook until the slices are browned and cooked through.
- Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic (3 cloves) to the pan with the sausage and cook for about 1 minute, stirring frequently to release the garlic’s aroma without burning it.
- Prepare the Sauce: Stir in 3 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon of chili flakes into the pan. Let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly and becomes sticky.
- Toss Pasta in Sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the sausage and honey garlic sauce. Toss thoroughly to coat the pasta evenly with the sticky sauce.
- Season and Serve: Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving to add a fresh, vibrant touch.
